The impala 2008 is a car seen all over the United States and everybody knows this car but not because of its looks, or great handling, or speed but one simple fact.... The police use these everywhere, and there is a reason. They are cheap to run, cheap to fix, easy to work on and more to the point cheap to buy for the power the higher end LTZ produces with its V6 kicking out 300bhp. Now this is true throughout the world and the United States is no different. When it comes to police cars there is the basic average cop cars and then the good cop cars...the cop car the cops want to drive and the impala is not it. The big Dodge Chargers are the cars the police want to use and this fact puts even more negatives against the impala. The interior is all plastic and even in the luxury models they have plastic posing as word. For me there is no passion in the impala. Its like chevy looked at the creation of this car and said we are going to make the most average car we can,. And it’s disappointing. This is the same company that makes the Camero, why cant they put some of that passion into the impala?
