Alfa Romeo Giulietta

A small fun Italian sports car that gives us a taste of what it would be like to own a Ferrari. Built for fun and from passion nobody buys a Alfa and expects a reliable car because that is not what Alfa’s are all about, and I am going to keep saying it. Passion, passion and more passion. You buy an Alfa Romeo because you love the car and enjoy driving, and that is certainly true with the new Giulietta. It might only have a top speed of 135 but it will go 0-60 in a fun 7.6 seconds which is not too slow when it only has 167 Italian horses to drive it. This is by no means a Ferrari speed contender but it is a Ferrari spirited car for the less wealthy and this shows in the fuel figures. This amazing little car can average 62 miles per gallon when driven in the real world of highways and cities. Alfa gave the Giulietta the flappy paddle semi-automatic gear box that is found in all the high performance cars of today. It sounds great, is a nippy little responsive car to drive that makes you feel like a 12 year old again. Alfa’s are known for having problems, mechanically, electronically and not the greatest build quality but for the moments when everything is working correctly... you would not change it for the world.
