Lamborghinis new toy has arrived in the form of a very
slick, jet fighter like design with an impressive name as always.... the
Aventador. A window licking crazy 6.5 V12 multi injection, 690 horse power
Lamborghini which has come to kick some ass and take a few names. It is like
this car is powered by a nuclear power plant as 0-60 takes the blink of an eye
in 2.8 seconds and wait for it, a top speed of 217mph given the space to spread
its legs. A $380,000 price tag assures you if the performance figures didn’t that
this is a full time super car with no ifs or buts. The 16mpg estimate depends
on how you bang throw the 7 speed semi-automatic gearbox. Now appreciate the
Aventadors little party trick which only the crazy Italians would still dare to
put on a production car. During heavy acceleration and hard deceleration through
the gears, flames spit from the gaping central exhaust along with a soul
shaking sound that just sounds of raw power. It is amazing that the Lamborghini
even manages to put all that power on to the road without just spinning the big
sticky tires. Certainly one of the most impressive, shocking and best looking
cars I have ever seen. It is a real fresh design that looks like the mixture of
an F22 raptor and a Stealth bomber. I have never got to see one but I know when
I do, it will certainly be something I will forever remember.
